Ali Hossaini was born in Sar-e Pol province, Afghanistan. He graduated in Economics and Management. For over 12 years, he has worked as a journalist in various Afghan and international media outlets such as France 24, TOLO TV, and Amu TV. During this time, Ali has been a key participant in numerous projects, including high-risk endeavors such as the anti-Taliban campaign and documentaries addressing the plight of women in Taliban prisons. His work has provided well-documented insights into the pain and suffering endured by women in Taliban prisons, shedding light on their unimaginable challenges and advocating for their rights. Due to security concerns, he fled to Pakistan in March 2022 and spent nearly two years seeking asylum in France, where he currently resides, continuing his efforts to amplify the voices of the marginalized and oppressed.
