In 2016 I founded the “Act and Hope Foundation.” This nonprofit entity was dedicated to spearheading social awareness campaigns, notably in combating violence against women through initiatives like the Hamdeli Crisis Hotline, addressing corruption via Reshvat (a platform for reporting bribery), and empowering Afghan women through online fitness training with the Fit Andam project. The vision behind the Hamdeli Crisis Hotline was to pioneer Afghanistan’s first crisis center, offering essential psychological aid and counseling to victims of violence in the country. Moreover, the introduction of “Fit Andam” in 2021 aimed to create the premier online fitness training platform for women, equipping them with the tools necessary to enhance their physical and mental well-being. These endeavors are poised to have a transformative impact on the lives of Afghan women and the future of Afghanistan, embodying our commitment to creating positive change and empowering individuals in need. Formerly, as the CEO and co-founder of Kardan Balkh Industrial and Manufacturing Company, I have served as a subcontractor for esteemed international organizations and governmental entities. My educational journey led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in India, followed by the completion of my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification at the American University in Kabul, Afghanistan. Currently I am in Iran, having fled Afghanistan after facing threats due to my work with the U.S. government and military. Though the road remains long, my work with Act and Hope reminds me that, ultimately, humanity triumphs over fear.
